Me myself and.....I

Who me? You talkin' to me? OF COURSE.....im Menon Piyanka Konnamkandath...but you can call me Priyanka aka Priya aka Pri or Menon...What to say about me? I suppose im a simple girl living in a complicated world....RIGHT....don believe all that shit....i seem like a simple person but thats coz you do not know me all that well....





Ive been blogging for some time..BUT i don seem to follow through...blogging is tiresome after a while....but i suppose i have to get used to this....today's class seemed to be more than just interesting. I chose this subject not coz i wanted to but coz i wanted to do 5 modules this sem. I do not think i will regret this decision. I am the Pri of all trades and master of maybe one (unlike the saying!) That one being - Being Myself (WOW!) great surprise there.

4) Music - most Rnb/Hip Hop, EAGLES,QUEEN,METALLICA,U2,Bon Jovi, Will Smith,


Maroon5, and almost anything else EXCEPT TRANCE , TECHNO AND ANYTHING

I take photographs and enjoy shooting scenery(mostly).....see them at fotopages. I would love to learn to play the guitar and eventually play "Hotel California" of the Eagles (so if anyone can teach me, lemmi know) I enjoy clubbing at Obar, Gotham(would love try to other places) MoS is STUPID....music in Smoove is bad and its always soo crowded.





OKOK back to blogging....i started a blog to talk about sensitive issues such as Singapore politics, religion and racism. I enjoy discussing about these topics without any restrictions or inhibitions that SOMEONE will read and ship me off to Timbuktu. There are many issues that needs to be discussed by us, Singaporeans, to make our country a better place. We cannot forever go on as we have done so far. We are changing, moving to the future(which is supposed to be here) and we need to actually BE dynamic. There is no use if we say we are, we have to be. Ask any Chinese if they think there is racism in Singapore. Most will say 'No' and the why to this question is 'because i have not gone through this'. WELL DUH! You have not. Only the minorities in a community will feel racism. The reason why i bring up this matter is because the government forces us to realise and look out for the little little differences between the races. Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year, Malays Hari Raya, Indians Deepavali and so on. Chinese speak Chinese, the Malays and the Indians Tamil. Even though most of the above information are not complete, Chinese are not Chinese mearly or their colour or the festivals they celebrate, they are a dynamic group of people with long history and culture ( i am not sucking up to ANYONE!). The same with the rest. Children must be taught to see the differences so that they can better understand and respect. Most of all they must be taught to see why we are all similar underneath it all. It is sad to see people segregate because of ethnicity and religion.





Obtw i write as well....as in poems and songs....i will publish them once a while...





There are little little things that tick me off and that will keep me going for a looooooong time.
