Chageling and The Reader.

Both wonderful movies with great performances from Angelina Jolie and Kate Winslet.

Changling is about a woman who goes through the bullying of the LAPD in the 20's after refusing to agree that they had found her son, who had been kidnapped by a psychopathic killer. After years of torture and worry for her lost son, she sees the killer hang and learn that her son helped another boy to escape and live. She also finds the hope to cling on to the fact that her son could be alive, somewhere. Riveting performance by Angelina Jolie as the mother makes us feel the pain and horror of gg through such an ordeal. John Malkovich plays Rev Gustav who helps her to find justice and to fight the corrupted LAPD. Another wonderful performance i thought was by Jason Butler, who played the Gordon Northcott, the killer. He showed the characteristics of a man who was sick in his mind, a man who did nt know morality and humaneness. A man who kills innocent children to feel better.

all in all this movie was nt just riverting, but a good story teller. It talks of hope, pain, horror, corruption and the pure will of the human sprit to fight on.

The Reader is a movie about an illicit love between an older woman and a 15yr old boy. Its about innocence, pride and the need for man to do the right thing. Kate Winslet gave a performance that hails the Oscar. This is one movie i do not want to give away the ending or the process to the ending. This movie has to be seen, not read about. It shows how past actions will forever be apart of yr life and how it will affect yr future. One word: WONDERFUL. A must watch!!
