RIP MJ!

An ode to the man to did it
an ode to the man of the world
an ode to he who made it
an ode to he who sold

I remember i was so crazy about MJ that i paid $2 to my friend who sold me 4 MJ post cards. She cheated me but I was happy. I put them under my pillow to safe guard them and so that I might meet him one day in person. But i lost the post cards soon after and till this day I don't know what came of them.

At the arg of 6 my aunty got tickets to MJ's Dangerous tour in Singapore. I was the most excited little girl in the world. we were at the Kallang stadium at 3pm and got into the stadium by 5. But he was late to come on stage but i remember the first glimpse of him. it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. everyone was screaming and jumping. wad an entertainer. he sang all my favourite hits. but being a 6 yr old girl, i was tired within 30 min and my aunty had to carry me for a long time. eventhough i do no remember most of the concert i do remember the feeling of excitement of being so close to MJ.

when i was 3 my dad got me MJ's music video cassette tape. i used to watch the tape every day during lunch and dinner. my favourite music video was black or white, beat it and many more. i refused to eat if my mom or dad did not play the tape for me.

so many memories...i grew up listenin and watchin him. even during the court case in 2005 i refused to be part of groups and listen or read to news that forever degraded him. MJ was a man, he was an entertainer. He was a human being, he made mistakes like all of us. But the only difference was tt everyone else wanted to know everything that he did. He was public property and owned by the world to love and hate, to use and abuse.

The man to did so much for all and yet not one of us did anything for him except to hurl abuses and names.

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, will live forever in the hearts and minds of millions. He will live in his music. We love you MJ, i love you. Rest in Peace.
