Four men were caught on camera openly molesting a bikini-clad woman at Sentosa's countdown party.
The incident took place on a stage in front of a crowd. Many onlookers were captured filming and taking photographs of the incident.
Yet no one helped her.
The girl appears to be intoxicated and from her actions, it seems like she could not fend for herself.
Several internet users highlighted this video which was posted on YouTube.com and said it occurred at the countdown beach party at Sentosa.
Netizens are currently debating the incident. Some have expressed their anger towards those who did not help her but seemed content filming the incident.
Netizen Thinkoutloud said "Its becoming sick that people are more concerned on watching and video taping rather to stand up and help.
"A simple shout to call for police or asking them to stop seem suddenly an impossible task.
In an email to citizen journalism website, STOMP, Veronica, said, "No one was there to help her but yet were taking photos and videos of the incident!"
Others insist the girl is at fault for dressing in such a manner and getting drunk. Said netizen ryooiken74, "Do not put the blame on the man only, the women should shoulder some blame too.
"Dressed in a bikini and some more got drunk. Easy prey for the men."

Eh HOLA!?!?! this was caught on tape but yet no one had the balls to help that girl? And Singapore is supposed to be safe? Those guys should be found and put in jail.

Im sorry but what right do any one have to say that its her fault? Just cause' the men have no self-restraint whatsoever, let alone respect for women. Get this, most women do NOT enjoy being groped/raped/molested or anything else that is done to them by force. According to feminist writer Susan Brownmiller in 1975 " rape is motivated not by lust but by the urge to control and dominate", in the 90's she stated that "Rape is viewed as an unnatural behavior that has nothing to do with sex, and one that has no corollary in the animal world."

Palmer mentioned in their article "Why Men Rape" (oxymoronic looking at the fact that men are explaining the reasons as for why other men rape) 'The mechanics of the phenomenon are simple: animals born without traits that led to reproduction died out, whereas the ones that reproduced the most succeeded in conveying their genes to posterity. Crudely speaking, sex feels good because over evolutionary time the animals that liked having sex created more offspring than the animals that didn't' . Ok so let me get this straight, men are so insistent that their 'good' traits have to passed to the next generation that they force themselves on woman. Why cause they cant get any women with their looks or personality?
So why do men rape? According to an article written by Sharon Supriya, 'Why Men Rape' there are a few reasons. 1, to procreate. Now is that the only way? How come then there are elderly women and children being raped? So this is nothing short of a bad excuse to make rape look good. 2.To get rid of frustration. I know that different people have different ways to vent frustration but to hurt someone who has nothing to do with your frustration or to vent it on women cos they 'need to be punished' is just going over the limit. 3.they have control issues. Men who rape want to show that they are more powerful than the other person. So rape is NOT about the sex. Alright this makes more sense to me. Men who have low self esteem and see themselves as lesser beings want to exert themselves on those who cannot fight back to show THEMSELVES that they are indeed more powerful. Sad issent it? And lastly, 4. Biological issues. Men who have been used and abused by others in their life have higher tendencies to be violent in any way. So it might not be their fault in the beginning but it transforms them. They do it to someone else and this cycle continues and never ends.
Women want men who can perform the duties of husband, father, son-in-law. Whereas men want women who will give them children. Some how over years of evolution the primal wants have merged to a win-win situation. Good. Mostly. Hopefully. I think.
Having gone through some sort of 'being used' by men i can only have one thing to say. Such men are disgusting AND 99.99% of the time the woman/girl IS NOT TO BLAME for his disgusting actions. My prayers go out to each and every woman and child who has been used and abused by another human being. Those who have done these deeds on others, well i really hope you will be punished in the most painful manner ever.
