National Day Outings

My darling girls and i went for dinner. It was the 8th of Aug, a day before the THE DAY, where everyone celebrates the birthday of out country. We were not particularly patriotic but since it was a good reason for us to meet, we did. The whole group! Nur, Vithya, Rajes, Durga, Robin, ME together with Ruby, Kuan Ting and Ranjini. It was a nice change to have a relatively big group when we go out.

We went to bugis to eat, where i had a really good Chicken Mushroom Noodle. The chilli was toooo gooood....*slurp* Most had chicken rice and Nur had laksa. Can't really remember the name of the place though but its opposite Swensens in Bugis Junction and has 2 floors. We then walked to City Hall, where on the way, i 'lost' my phone. Stupid Ruby Liew insisted that she returned my phone to me when she actually put it in KT's pocket! Almost everyone knew where it was and no one wanted to tell me. My god i almost died! I seriously thought that i lost my phone and was thinking on how to get a new one or how to tell my mom that i lost it. When i found it in his pocket i almost killed all of them. They all had fun seeing my misery though! Idiots!

At Suntec, we bought 12 bottles of drinks. 11 alcoholic and 1 non-alcoholic.....We carried them all the way to the Esplanade. We found a nice place near Lim Bo Seng Memorial (may God bless his soul!) where we sat and started drinking. Ruby, being the darling she is bought donuts and we had a feast! Cinnamon ones, chocolate raspberry ones and more CHOCOLATESSSS! yay!

we were there from 10ish to 11ish, talking and bitching and laughing. We ended up taking soooo many pix using KT's phone! hahaha...was soooo fun!

We managed to get the last train to PR and me being the only idiot who lives in Kovan, missed my train. I then had to get a cab from Tampines with Robin. *Thinks hard* wait, i would have gotten home earlier if i had taken a cab from City Hall! Hmmmm....oh well....we had fun in the train toooo! You see, we took many photos there too! Oh no place is spared when it comes to us taking photos!

We laughed, squealed and made a whole lot of noise and got many many people to stare at us! Oh man....we made a fool of ourselves basically! Camera whores we are! We just had to take photos and i guess we will always do that =)! So weird we are!! You cannot find any weirder people!
